Elmo
Blowing Bubbles
Designed
with the use of a window cling and a lightbox. Window Clings are
those vinyl clings you find in many stores that you place on your
windows. You see them mostly around the holidays in some stores.
They sell for around a $1 for a variety of styles.
For this
design...
1. I traced
Elmo onto white cardstock using the window cling and the lightbox.
2. Next, I
colored him in using brush tip pens.
3. I
stamped the grass across the bottom. (You could draw this freehand
if you do not have a grass stamp.)
4. I used a
bubble rubberstamp to stamp bubbles along the side border and
colored them in with the light blue brush tip pen.
Tip:
With the vinyl window clings you can flip the cling over to trace
image in the other direction in the opposite corner or opposite
page.

That
is all it takes to make this cute page. So look in your local stores
for window clings and let the imagination sore. Some places to look
for window clings are Dollar stores, Wal-mart, K-mart, local craft
stores. I have even seen them at local grocery stores. Some places
carry them in the displays in the checkout isles. Once you know what
you are looking for, you will find them many places.
