Instructions:
Take your pencil and the ruler and
draw a line on all four sides of the cardstock about ¾" in from outer edge of
cardstock.
Then take your Blue Broad Tip pen and go over the drawn
line stopping at each corner.
Using the Blue Fine Tip pen draw another line about 1/8
inch away outlining the Broad drawn line on the outer edge.
Erase any pencil lines
Next take your stickers and place on the pencil drawn line
around the edges of your page. I started by placing the "Happy Chanukah".
Next along the outside border take your Blue Fine Tip pen
and draw the Chanukah symbol by drawing one triangle, then another one right on top but
drawn upside down, repeat this here and there spaced about 1½" apart along the outer
border.
Then with the Blue Broad Tip pen, scattered along the outer
border place dots grouped into 3.
Next, line up your ruler so that the edge of the ruler is
lined up on the outer drawn line. Take the cotton ball that was rubbed into the blue chalk
and rub from the ruler edge lined up on the drawn line to the outer edge of the page. (Make
sure you have newspaper or something under your page so not to get ink on your work
surface.)
Your page is now ready for pictures and journaling. (Mat
pictures using a color close to the pen you used on the edge.)
Hope you have enjoyed this border design. I know I have enjoyed designing it and
