"GINGERBREAD MEN" BORDER

Supplies Needed:

  • One sheet of 12x12  or 8 1/2 x 11 White cardstock (or trim a piece of white to fit along the edge of a red or green page.)

  • Gingerbread Man rubber stamp. The one used here is in a Christmas set (# SK551) from Personal Stamp Exchange.

  • Black Ink Pad

  • Wavy Ruler

  • Pens: Evergreen fine tip ; Light Green brush tip; Red broad or brush tip; Light Brown brush tip; and other colors you wish to use on your Gingerbread Men.

Instructions:

  1. Take your Evergreen Fine Tip pen and about ½ -3/4" in from edge of paper, draw your wavy line from top to bottom of page.

  2. Draw little squiggles and tiny leaves along the wavy line using the Evergreen Fine Tip. Color leaves in with the Light Green Brush Tip.

  3. Stamp your Gingerbread image along the inside of each curve of your wavy line.

  4. Color in your Gingerbread Men.

  5. Add three little red dots here and there along each side of the wavy border line.

  6. Your Page is now ready for pictures and journaling.
