"HOLLY" #2 BORDER

Supplies Needed:

  • One sheet of 12x12  or 8 1/2 x 11 White cardstock (or trim a piece of white to fit along the edge of a red or green page.)

  • Holly rubber stamp. The one used here is in a Christmas set (# SK551) from Personal Stamp Exchange.

  • Evergreen Ink Pad

  • Wavy Ruler

  • Pens: Evergreen fine tip ; Light Green brush tip; Red broad or brush tip

Instructions:

  1. Take your Evergreen Fine Tip pen and about ½ -3/4" in from edge of paper, draw your wavy line from top to bottom of page.

  2. Stamp the Holly image along the inside of each curve of your wavy line.

  3. Draw squiggles along the wavy line using the Evergreen Fine Tip. (I drew these squiggles a little larger then I usually do on other borders I have done. This is just a personal preference.)

  4. Color Holly leaves in with the Light Green Brush Tip.

  5. Take the red brush tip pen and color in the berries on the holly leaves.

  6. Your Page is now ready for pictures and journaling.
