Supplies Needed:

  • One sheet of 12x12  or 8 1/2 x 11 White cardstock (or use Green or Red - trim 1/4" to fit in a CM album)

  • 1 modular of Gifted Line Poinsettas acid free Stickers (5 poinsettias)

  • One strip of ribbon to fit the length of your page.  I used here the Off Ray "Majestic" Lace Ribbon. Off Ray makes acid free ribbon.

  • Photo Splits or Glue Stick to mount ribbon if you don't have Off Ray's already mountable ribbon.

  • Note: You can mount a 8 1/2 x 11 Green or Red cardstock next to your Ribbon border if you choose to do so on the 12 x 12 page. For the 8 1/2 x 11 trim to fit so you have a nice border on all four sides.

Instructions:

  1. Use your glue stick or photo splits to mount your ribbon about 3/4"-1" from edge of page. You decide which four sides you wish to place your border for this one. You can do one, two or all four sides with this idea. If using photo splits on the back of the ribbon, trim the edges even with the ribbon so the sticky part does not show.

  2. Place your poinsettia stickers evenly along your ribbon. I like to place the top and bottom ones first. Then add one centered in between those two. Then place the next two evenly between the three already placed.

  3. This step is only if you wish to mount a green or red piece of cardstock next to the already made poinsettia border. Give it a try to see what you personally think. It's a mood thing in my opinion!

  4. Your Page is now ready for pictures and journaling.
