Main Dish Recipe


Chicken with Bow-tie Pasta

Recipe from the Kitchen of: Sharon Murphy

This recipe is requested often by my husband. It is a tasty satisfying and colorful dish.


  • 2 Boneless Chicken Breast - cut into 1" cubes

  • 1 Full bunch of Broccoli flowerets

  • 1 cup sliced Vidalia or White Sweet Onion

  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken Broth

  • 4 cups cooked Faralle (Bow-tie-Shaped) pasta

  • 1 cup Tomato and Basil Spaghetti Sauce

  • 12-15 Cherry Tomatoes - cut in half

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil

  • Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb Seasoning

  • Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese


  1.         Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken cubes and sprinkle with Mrs. Dash Seasoning. Cook, stirring frequently, until done. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

  2.         Add broccoli, onions and "1 cup" chicken broth to the skillet and cook over medium heat about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until liquid has all but evaporated.

  3.         Stir in gently remaining ingredients: chicken, 1/2 cup chicken broth, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, and pasta.

  4.         Serve with Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top.
