Bird Nests

Serves: 10
Work Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

12 ounces peanut butter
1 (12 ounces) package butterscotch chips
1 large can dry chow mein noodles
1 can cocktail nuts, unsalted
Chocolate Eggs or Marshmallow or Chocolate covered raisins to place in the center of the "nest".

Melt peanut butter and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler.
Mix in chow mein noodles and nuts.

Place a sheet of waxed paper or foil on a large cookie sheet.

To form nests, mound 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheet. (Kids love to use their hands to help make these treats.) With the back of a teaspoon, make an indentation in the center of each mound. Press 3 or 4 candies in the center of each "nest". Allow to set at room temperature until firm.
