Very Easy to put together!

 

From the Kitchen of Sharon Murphy…

This recipe was enjoyed by family members when we got together over the holidays. This recipe you can prepare the night before if you want and cook the next day to have ready for dinner. Serve with a toss salad with croutons and a side dish of applesauce. For dessert, I served a slice of cherry pie with choice of whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.

 

Crockpot Stuffed Shells

 

1 lb. Ground Beef

1 Small onion – chopped

1 clove garlic – minced

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

˝ cup seasoned bread crumbs

1 Tbsp. Parsley flakes

1 egg – beaten

18 jumbo pasta shells – cooked and drained

2 (15 ˝ oz) jars spaghetti sauce (meatless)

˝ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

  1. Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a skillet; drain if needed.

  2. Add mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, and egg.

  3. Pour 1 jar of sauce into crockpot.

  4. Gently stuff shells with beef mixture and arrange shells into the sauce in crockpot.

  5. Top with the other jar of sauce and Parmesan cheese.

  6. Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours.
