Corn Chowder

  • 1/4 pound bacon browned and crumbled

  • 1 cup chopped onion

  • 1 bell pepper chopped

  • 2 1/2 cups milk

  • 2 cups cooked potatoes diced and drained

  • 1 15 ounce can creamed corn

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  1. Cook onion and pepper in bacon drippings until tender. 
  2. Add chicken broth, potatoes, creamed corn, seasonings, bacon and milk. 
  3. Heat until hot but do not boil.
